Song background:

A fast-paced, fun song that talks about purity in a comfortable, natural way.

♥️One idea about teaching it to children (add your own, please!):

  • Ask if anyone has a favorite shirt or something super fancy that they are very careful with.  Comment how they are probably careful to keep it clean and not messed up, even though if something happens to their favorite thing, they can fix it.
  • We're like that. We try to keep ourselves clean and in good repair. If something happens, we fix it. But, we try to take care of ourselves in the best way we can.
  • (Make sure to mention that, of course, with us, if someone did something wrong to us, it's not our fault and we aren't "dirty," but even in that case, the Savior can help us fix it so WE feel awesome no matter what happens.)

Lyrics: Verse 1: I came to this world grand, to grow and live Heav'nly Father's plan, to keep myself pure and clean, and I know that I can. Verse 2: I love Heav'nly Father's plan! I'll try to listen to His command, to keep myself pure and clean: the Savior says I can!
