Song background:

I had a sacred experience that left me no doubt about the fact that Heavenly Father knew me intimately and loved me. The experience was made even more profound when soon afterwards the idea for this song came to me.  At first it came in short phrases and little snippets of melody. This was before I knew anything about music. I couldn't even play an instrument so completing the song took many years. It is a simple testimony of our Heavenly Father's love for each of us and our purpose for being here. We can return to Him some day. And we can become like Him.
