Song background:

I found this song in a Christian hymnal, and love the message.  It's normally sung to the same tune as Israel, Israel, God is Calling, but I find that the upbeat setting doesn't allow you to focus on the words.  So I wrote this entirely new setting, which is calmer and more thought-provoking.  Enjoy!
